Hyder Consulting were appointed as Lead Consultant with NORR as Architect for the design and construction of the 3rd tallest pair of towers in the world, one tower comprising a 400 bedroom, 5 star luxury hotel and the other a 52 storey office tower. The project site area included dune shaped parking structures and a 2 storey retail podium with exclusive shops and restaurants, meeting rooms, ballroom, gymnasium, swimming pool and extensive landscaping and lakes. The hotel was built using reinforced, in-situ concrete and comprises a 30-storey upper atrium. The office was constructed using structural steel beams and pre-cast panels. The quality of finishes remains a hallmark in the Middle East.
