The 120 storey 7 Million sf Commercial, Residential, Retail, Hospitality, F&B Twin towers connected by a bridge spanning over Emirates Road, forming the gateway to Dubailand.
The project was split into two main components, residential and commercial, with the podium providing a critical link between a rail station and adjacent developments in the surrounding area. The unusual form required a redesign of the process used to develop architecture, challenging BIM experts, animators, software engineers and architects to create new ways of dealing with vast quantities of data effectively. This process was the germination of Ivar’s still-evolving process which integrates energy modeling, animation, BIM and financial modeling into a real-time investigative design approach. The Hotel portion is entered through dedicated lifts which enter a sky lobby which provides access to retail, 4 F&B outlets gym and SPA, indoor pool and 250 keys of deluxe rooms. The uppermost levels contain executive floors, presidential and royal suites. The podium contains conference facilities and banqueting.
